Coming home...

On 13th May, 2006 we brought Jett home. After 5 days at Selangor Private Hospital (in Nambour, Sunshine Cost) we left the security and expertise of the midwives and came home with our "little fella". We are housesitting at a canal home in Mooloolaba until our house renovations are completed in Buderim (and we are enjoying the water views for a few months!).

After a tentative drive home (see first capsule ride above!) and a tour of the house, he settled in well. He had a sleepy first week (and seemed to sleep through every visitor to the house!) but has been more alert since then as he has been taking in the sights and sounds of his environment. He had his first walk (see above) and decided that the more "bumps" the better ...the bumpier the ride the more he sleeps!

So far sleeping is pretty good with only 1 or 2 feeds during the night. We now know what our friends who are parents talk about when they say that you never realised you could love someone so much! We are in awe of little Jett every day and look forward to watching him grow!
