It has been a bit of an ongoing saga, but mostly an enjoyable one...yes our house is finally being renovated. We are renovating 2/3 of the upper level as well as building in the underneath area of our pole home. Despite it being a bit "airy" at present, we now have an entry door and soon we will have internal stairs! After so long with having no real entry (just lots of glass sliding doors upstairs!) the entry door is in and no more rushing up external stairs when it is raining! And we will also have a garage for the first time rather than parking under the house! Now that the walls are all going in, platerers working hard, painters starting this week and the new kitchen going in on Wednesday, we are getting very excited!!!! Honestly, it is a full time job organising a house renovation! Fortunately we had a lot of it organised before we had Jett, but there are still bits and pieces to sort out every week.

It is hard to believe our little pole home is finally getting renovated...after so long in the planning! We will keep you posted re any updates. We are taking beers to the boys on Friday, so that should move things along (or will it slow them down??????).
