We just spent another fantastic long weekend in Brisbane doing our 2nd houseswap with friends (Soraya, Graeme and Zade). They enjoyed our place on the Sunshine Coast and we got to enjoy inner-city living at Redhill/Paddington as well as taking in a day at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast. Donna's parents gave us annual passes to Dreamworld (woo hoo) so it was our first of hopefully many visits this year. Jett was a bit gob-smacked by the whole experience but had fun and especially enjoyed "Wiggles World" and Tiger Island. Not sure if our explanations re why he could not climb the hedge to pat the Tigers were taken on board, but you can only presume..... This visit we spent most of our day on rides suitable for 1 year olds, but next time, there will be some adult play to be had! And we haven't tackled "White Water World" yet..... speaking of water, we have now experienced water restrictions in Brisbane (yes, we had those 4 minute showers like good little citizens). Let's all pray for more rain over the Dams!
